The download from xbox.com is about 8MB iirc, so not big.
Liking it so far, some cute little touches, and some really useful ones. I like the marketplace blade and interface, I like the fact I'm now signed in before I hit the dash, I like the new 'joinable' icon on the friends list and I like the 'my friends are playing' thing on the arcade interface. There's a new 'reference' setting for VGA and that's really helped with some colour washing. Only bad thing so far is that it's broken tversity's video support, so no convenient download access until they fix it (though they're working on it right now).

Well all updated for me too and everything still appears to work
I did stick my msn account on the 360 only wanting it there incase I didn't have the iBook on but it keeps signing me in! I wish it bloody wouldn't

I'm hoping they work out a fix for changing email addresses for it. I'm mildly envious now of you lot being able to sign onto messenger from the 360
