Cheap laptop
Hey guys
I'm looking into finding my Mum a cheap laptop for her to play on as her current one is giving up the ghost at long last Saw this... http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/128362/rb/0 ... on eBuyer and wondered if it was any good? She doesn't need something with bells and whistles (so to speak obv!) but she needs something cheap and reliable she can go online wirelessly. Doesn't play proper games but a larger screen would be handy, but not essential. If thats crap, can anyone find me anything else? Don't have a big budget unfortunately but thinking with the kinda prices you find today that should be ok anyway. Thanks for your help

Does it have to be a Laptop? You'll get more for your money, at that price you'll be looking at the absolute most basic of laptops (like that one. Lowest end, last generation CPU with 512MB of slow memory).

Guess it doesn't have to be really. She said she prefered a laptop, it's not like she really takes it off the desk anyway She'd happily listen to reason though if there was a clear difference in quality.
Desktop PC should be ok

Jen got a cracking deal on a PC (twice, one for her one for her parents) a couple of weeks ago, for about £300 iirc. Core 2 Duo, 1GB of memory and a 19" TFT. I'll see if I can dig up the link, but if not I'm sure she can.

Good system that Think it's the one that replaced mine as mine was a core2duo.
I was very impressed by the deal, I wasn't originally planning to go for it till I saw my Mum's and how fast it was.
