Well, I've never had any trouble with Millets site (save for when it's been completely defunct) with both FF 1.5 and FF 2.0, so

Did you try what Feek suggested? Delete the firefox profile and try again?

Oops, I should have also recommended that. It's a common cure-all as far as Firefox is concerned, particularly if you've got plugins and have upgraded lots. Of course, what I did to fix my networking woes (reinstalling the whole OS) works too, but it's a bit extreme.

Yes its avoiding the problem, but have you tried Opera? I'm using it now, have done for years now, and its the best viable option to FF and/or IE apart from some random thing Daz likes to do with his bookmarks (weirdo) everything else can be replicated by opera (and is more integrated so you dont get extension conflicts). You can even get away with the portable profiles (like Daz wants) but i'm not going to pretend it didn't look easy.

Anyways opera is free and VERY fast and stable, so give it a go

I'm running Opera USB at the moment - runs of a memory stick and leaves nothing on the host PC. Plus it means I can take my settings anywhere with me that has USB access.

Will probably install Opera again soon, but this is going me just fine at the moment.

The USB isn't a bad sollution, but Daz wouldn't accept that as a solution as his google thingymabob (which i agree) does work better. I would use USB too, but its impractical since i move my laptop around all over the house and the USB thing is something i'd break off by accident

I do have PortableFirefox loaded on my USB stick, and it also has browser sync installed I use that on random PC's, but not on any of my machines because it's slower.
