Sounds about right - I'm sure I saw somewhere that someone with an X2 4600+ had a CPU score of 5.2 so your 5.0 sounds right.

On the sound front, I found a Trust card in the local Maplins for £30 that has vista drivers - it works a treat \o/.

Apparently Creative cards have serious issues with Nvidia chipsets - especially the 680 (mine

).
Until they sort their issues (apparently Creative and Nvidia are working together to come up with drivers (chipset and sound card) that eliminate this problem), a little advice to you all - If you buy a motherboard with an Nvidia chipset (especially the 680), just use the onboard sound for now (assuming you haven't left the add in PCI card up north

) and wait until the driver issues have been sorted before trying to use a Creative card.

Mines currently at 5.6, my RAM isn't being clocked at the moment and I know it will do better as it's the G.Skill HZ DDR2 Ram that holds/held the record for clocks etc..

But I will have to go back to my 6800 Ultra from my friends 7800GTX tomorrow
