Necroposting ftw! \o/

Bumping this as I decided to get myself a copy after reading a very favourable review on IGN, and after the first 6 missions I have to say it's one of the best PC games I've played in years. I'm not a huge RTS fan, but this one is far more tactical than any I've played, and I totally love that. Using the right units to take out the right opponent, flanking the opposition, using the snipers effectively, all of it is brilliant. I especially loved defending the city in the 4th mission, that was intense just getting the defences sorted out.

Anyway, I'm taking a wee break now as I've been playing it all night, taking my time through each mission capturing pretty much every point, defending my front lines etc, so each mission has been taking me 4+ hours. Might watch a war film then go back to it

You've been playing this non- stop for the first six missions

It's frustratingly brilliant! Looking back, it is one of the best PC games I've played.. Not the bast but certainly in my top three. I've kept it on the system because all the levels are unlocked meaning I can go back and redo some of the missions. There were a few secondary "medal" missions.

The game is flawless.

Not non-stop for the first 6 missions, but over the last day or so

I wouldn't say flawless though, as the pathfinding AI is a bit daft when you try to send multiple tanks to the same place. They have the annoying habit of trying to drive over each other
