I think I'm trying to get Vista to do too much. I have a dual core CPU, and if I want it to do two intensive things, it's fine.

Give it three and it judders to a grinding halt.

Back in the days of single core, you'd give it two and it judders to a screeching halt. We're in progress!

I might install it again just for the pleasure of Mashtuur city. That's the map which made the game popular before I discovered the joys of Kubra Dam.
