I wonder if lag may have something to do with it. Given that some rounds are done with the buzzer, I wonder whether the lag of some people may be enough to mean that although they press first, someone else may get registered as beating them. Obviously the player would probably not know it, but I wonder whether it was at least a consideration for them. It is a shame though, it would be a blast online.

I thought about that Davey, but they could still have done the other games where you just each take your guess against the points timer, just leave the "buzzing in" out of the online game.

Not sure I buy that myself. You could argue the same about any FPS and they manage just fine.

They manage but it's not perfect, and lag does play a part at times. I can recall several times when playing COD4 online and shooting at people the moment I saw them, only to die quickly. The kill cam showed them shooting at me before I was shooting at them, something which didn't appear to be the case. I can only explain that away as a slight lag on my part. In FPS games I don't mind as I probably kill people in the same way, but in a game like Scene It it could be the difference between winning and losing.
