Not another mobile phone thread...
Yup I'm sorry - my turn now.
I am looking at getting a new phone - I have actually been "free" from my contract since about this time last year but at the time there was never anything that really caught my eye. Now due to it basically dying I am looking around again. Whilst I have enjoyed having a smart phone thingy, I want to go back to a basic phone. I have narrowed it down to 3 phones and I am wondering if anyone has experience with any of them or know of any problems etc They are the Nokia 6500 both the slide or the classic and the Sony Ericsson W910i. They may not be the most up to date phones about but they are ones that when looking around shops I like the feel and layout of. |

I've suggested the 6500 Classic - Girl at work has the 910 and I just don't like it.

Voted for the 6500 Slide (in black of course).
It looks to have the best features and it's got the best (well, highest MP) camera and I know what you're like for taking photos It's odd as I'd be most likely to automatically say the SE, but the 6500 slide does look better

Ended up going for the nokia slide - so far so good although I don't like the nokia pc suite software.
I was sending texts to multiple recipients at the weekend and it seems some got it loads of times while other people didn't get it all - not sure if that was a phone hiccup or (more likely) I was doing something wrong. Apologies to those who got text spam And if you didn't get a text, my old number is still working so let me know and I'll give you my new number |
