Default Credit Rating stuff

I've just setup an account with CreditExpert after being denied credit on a simple 12 month 0% deal for a camera.
It my credit report claims that I've got two credit cards which I have no knowledge of, or have ever applied for. They both have balances on them - one is over its credit limit!?!

WTF should i do?!?! I was already planning to cancel the 3 credit cards that i've got (but don't use) but then theres these extra two from Tesco and MBNA!?!

The tesco and mbna cards seem to have been setup recently and are registered to my home address (i'm at uni so away from home most of the time) and claim i've lived at that address for 9 years 6 months... wtf - been there 20yrs!?!

anyway... any advise?

its through Experian

There aren't any specific details like card numbers... just...

Code:
Company name:	MBNA EUROPE BANK LIMITED
Account type:	Credit Card / Store Card
Started:	20/12/2007
Current Balance:	£515
Credit Limit:	£500
Code:
Company name:	TESCO PERSONAL FINANCE
Account type:	Credit Card / Store Card
Started:	08/01/2008
Current Balance:	£242
Credit Limit:	£250
Those two obviously have my address/dob also.

then theres results of searches -
Code:
Searched on:	03/02/2008	Time at address: 09 Years 06 Months
Searched by:	MBNA EUROPE BANK LTD
Application type:	Credit Card
Code:
Searched on:	06/01/2008	Time at address: 09 Years 06 Months
Searched by:	TESCO PERSONAL FINANCE
Application type:	Credit Card
there seems to be a fair few searches by those two.

Get on the blower straight away and tell the CC companys that you've had a credit report through and that you believe there are cards in your name that don't belong to you. Then get on to the credit report company and get the details removed from your file.

I've had applications like this in my name but luckily they didn't get through. I did however have Lambeth council chasing me for council tax in a place I'd never even heard of. Took a few calls to get that one sorted.
