Task Manager reports the three AntiVir processes are running under 10Mb. Which is rubbish! No way that can be right. Will give AVG a go and if that isn't brilliant go back to Avast.

I'd say avg is good but isn't a whole lot better. Grab a "decent" copy of avast

I've used AVG Free and Avast free edition fairly extensively. Not much between them in my opinion but I prefer the user interface in AVG as it's simpler.
