Cool Best Free Video and still editing package?

Hello all

I took some video and stills from a go karting event I went to last night for the sales teams.

I thought that there would be no point having them if I couldn't do a little bit of a showreel

I did editing before at uni (now a long time ago!) but we used a program called Media100 on a mac *spits* and now I'm not sure what is the best thing to use?

Also any ideas of a track that I could use to illustrate it would be great.

Thanks

Thanks for your help

I don't have a mac and I'm not getting paid for this work and doing it in my own time, which doesn't justify paying out for a Mac.

Ppppppppfffffffftttttttt!

does someone near you not have one you could use?
creating a DVD takes like NO time at all on the Mac.. including stills, menus and soundtracks.
I would lend you mine, if you lived closer.
