Bloody brilliant

Fight scenes weren't too fast/close/blurred/no idea which person is which, dialogue was good, suit looked funky, nice comedy moments.

Taks watch rating (how long it was into the movie before I first looked at the time and how many times I subsequently looked) - not once!

Mic knows the comics and pointed out some differences but nothing the average joe is likely to notice. When he told me one of the changes I think I would have preferred it if they had stuck to the comic but it still worked

I saw it the other weekend with Lana, and absolutely loved it. Thought it was well put together, and well acted for the most part. It was great to have nice clear fight sequences too, after the recent trends for blurry rubbish.
I'm quite looking forward to seeing any sequels they have planned, the post credits scene gives a rather large hint at one, plus there were loads of subtle references to others of Iron Man's comic book foes Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read!

The terrorists were referred to as the 10 Rings. The Mandarin, who is probably Iron Man's biggest nemesis uses the 10 Rings of power to gain his abilities. There was a hint we'd see Rhodie in the older Iron Man suit as War Machine (a good guy)

Some people were complaining it was a bit pro-america, anti-terrorist, but I didn't think so. I thought it was a fairly well aimed jab at the weapons industry and war profiteers.
