Anyone that thinks otherwise has either never found themselves in such a situation, or the bid wasn't high enough for them to abandon their principles.

Well.. if incredibly stupid amounts was offered (ie, billions) you'd have to think of all the people you could help with it (and not just family/friends). The interest alone would be able to give decent sums to charities.

So... depending on what principles you had, if your aim in life is to help others and you knew this money would be able to support and aid thousands of people in getting a better quality of life then really... it probably is worth it.

I don't think the situation will ever come up ever again where I get offered lots of wonga (although if I recall rightly it wasn't a million in offering! I have it written down somewhere... I'll have to dig it out) but just incase I'll ask Picky tonight and see what he says If he's fine I would consider a hefty sum. If it's a straight no then I wouldn't dare because I wouldn't want to lose someone I care for so much! Simple really! So I don't think everyone can be bought... it depends on what you treasure most in life really
