Any suitably trained/provoked dog could try to take a chunk out of a baby - even a yappy little yorkshire terrier. How much it'd take to do that, and how much damage they'd do is another matter, but the outcome would probably be the same.

Our family dog is a Jack Russel/fox terrier cross. She was the runt of the litter, and fully grown she is still smaller than the average domestic cat. Always been spoilt rotten and wouldn't hurt a fly. Loves attention seeking.

Last year she bit a 3 yr old on the chin, totally out of the blue. 3 yr old reacted as anyone would and gave her a smack on the nose, which did little to quell the brewing firestorm. She went berserk, and we had to take her off to see the vet, who diagnosed a heart murmur and a benign lump along her spine which we suspect the kiddie inadvertently pressed down on. You have no idea what the details of this story are ATS, but because of the breed of animal you are casting a very wide net. I thought you were a little more reasoned than that tbh.

Agree completely with Wossi on this.

I had a feeling you might have a pic. He's out and about at the moment.
