I've got these for working on sites. They are quite possibly the most comfy things ever, great for walking in as well.
Also because for some reason finding steel toe cap boots that don't make you look like a builder and are small enough.
Major thread resurrection time, Blackstar, these still being good for you? I need another new pair of comfy things for my plates.

I didn't realise how old this thread was until I got to the bottom, have you seen these? They look a bit odd but apparently simulate walking on soft surfaces (sand, soil etc) with bare feet.

Oooo, I hadn't realised it was exactly a year to the day from the original post to my revival.

Yes, I've seen MBTs, my brother has a pair. They make him look like he's wearing surgical boots!

I had they magnums Pebby!

And ZOMG aren't they comfy!?!!?!! Plus you can kick arse in them easliy!

Trainers are awesome runners - if you're looking at walking and hiking though it'd probably best to get some ankle type caterpillar walkers Much better heal support and if you get into walking and wanna go for a trek over the hills you don't have to worry about breaking your ankle on rocks and schtoof.

Speaking of running... I have to run again.

I may put my running trainers on at this rate..

I have a pair of Adidas GSG-9 boots in a 10 that I have worn about half a dozen times max. You are welcome to them if you want. Very comfortable.
