I'm firmly of the opinion that most bandwidth test sites are next to useless. The only way I would do a bandwidth test is with a large download over FTP of an uncompressable file (something like a zip, rar or ISO). These bandwidth test sites use small amounts of data which can give very very strange results.
If the test results you posted were correct you'd be able to download at about 170 megabytes/sec. No chance. |
