i use one of these. They work great, apart from the neck area on me. Never seem to get a good shave there, always takes a fair bit of effort.
General shave is nice and fast apart from that, however, whether I bother to put on pre-electric or not (better with)

Leccy shavers pull the bejaysus out of my chin and when I leccy shave it takes me 4 times as long and I always miss bits. Mind you, I've grown a goatee now and have bought a beard trimmer with 10 billion attachments to keep the topiary neat. I still wet shave my neck and cheeks. |

Unfortunately the trimmer I got has a lowest setting of 3mm which means it starts to look scraggy again after about 4 days. Curse my elevated testosterone levels.

Was that aimed at me?
Yep, already got one now I decided that even if I don't like it as much, it will at least make a change from a wet shave and give me something different to use if I really can't be bothered. But I do want to use it as my main shave so I'll just suck it and see

Just a little update, but I'm actually quite liking this
Yes, it's going to take a bit of practice to get right each time, and yes, at the moment my neck is still a little sensitive to it but that will fade in time. I'm just finding it so much easier and I can use it whenever I feel like it. Currently having a quick shave in the evenings so my neck soreness dies down by morning. Once it's all OK, I'll just go back to shaving in the morning again. It's not a brilliantly close shave like a wet razor, but it's more than good enough for me
