I've got my PC exactly how I want it, apart from the fact during the build I couldn't source the main HDD I wanted, so I had to install everything on a single 640GB HDD with two partitions. One being for XP/Music/Games and the other for work.
Now I can get the 1TB drive and my plan is to do the below, but before I attempt it I want to make sure it can be done (I'm 99% sure) but confirmation from Acronis users would put my mind at rest that I'm not risking my perfect setup. ![]()

I've no idea either. I'd personally shove both disks in a system and break out a Linux Live CD - 'dd' clone from one disk to the other and then use gparted to fiddle with the partitions afterwards.

Yeah it should be fine. I've done that with Acronis a few times and it's pretty painless.

I think it should work.
Personally, I find acronis a good tool to use. |

Yes it will - never had any problems with Acronis stuff.
