Paid and downloaded HL2:Episode 1 last night.. Was playing it within a half an hour.. Not bad so far

Been playing uplink myself.. interesting game. Didn't like the AMD dual core optimiser patch though!

I already have a copy of Uplink somewhere which I've played to the death, and I don't think the Steam version adds anything... does it?

I'm eagerly waiting for Defcon though

I don't want to ruin Uplink for people who have not played it too much, but hopefully you will have seen this particular server you can connect to - the wargames server, where you could play a game of global thermonuclear war on the Uplink screen

Look at the screenshots, and you'll immediately see what the game is trying to be
