I have two of them and I want to join them together.
Apparently you can't do this :/ but am sure I saw a double female adaptor at work on my computer there??! Please enlighten. Many thanks BB x |

You can do this. I have several such adapters. I'll try find a link for one for you.
You have to watch out for signal loss, but that shouldn't be a problem (10m isn't an issue, 50m might be). |

Yeah you just need a coupler. You should be able to get them anywhere. I know B&Q do them because I had to nip out and get some from there once!
They are only a couple of quid. |

Stick "RJ45 gender changer" into Google. There are loads - starting as cheap as 34p.

LOL at only £5.78. It's a few bits of plastic and copper and you can get them much cheaper.
Mine are similar, but I got them in the US while travelling. I can probably guess. They don't stock 'em, and like almost anywhere the first-line guys don't know a huge amount about everything they do stock, let alone what they don't. It's the specialists that would need to answer that sort of question. That's what tiered support is for. ![]() Last edited by Mark; 20-05-2009 at 19:52. |

If you just want a longer network cable I could send you one from the masses we've collected at work. Just let me know what kind of length you want and I'll give it to you.
