Default Freebie RAW image viewer software

Can anyone recommend any that will work with CR2 files from a 40D?

The MS one for XP doesn't seem to work

I've been looking for the same thing myself, would love to find one.

Having to open each file 1x1 in CS3 is a nightmare!

There are a few raw viewers/browsers in the Ubuntu package list, but only one I can find which has a build for Windows:

And I have used it since - works for CR2 from the 450D, dunno about the 40D.

Picasa doesn't open RAW on my mac, says it doesn't support the format?

I'll check that out Bod, thanks

Thanks guys I'll give those a try.

Basically use LR on my PC but the lappy aint up to it and would like to be able to view RAWs on it whilst away rather than having to save in JPG too.
