Major update on Xbox.com
So the 24h downtime was for a major Xbox.com rehaul, this time they seem to have really pushed the boat out, though there are still a few kinks which is expected. A lot more information on the main page that includes your friends online displaying much the same as it does on your Xbox, list of latest achievements and your past played games all looking prettier. More advertising for Xbox Live items on the site.
It's all quite pretty, but might take some getting used to. What do you think? |

Well it's up, if that's what you mean? In terms of presentation nothing will have changed on the console I wouldn't have thought.

Yeah, I noticed that a bit later, it's definitely handy.
One thing I really hope for though is borders around images. I always think stuff looks nasty without it. They used to have it on the old one. Simply adding a 1px border around the boxart and the achievement tiles would make it all look so much better. They're still clearly working on the right hand side too. As well as the sub pages where the headers are still from the old site so don't quite sit right with the new background. I also quite like the darker looking friends list. |

oh ffs, more flash crap. Bloody hate Flash with a vengeance and now it looks like the entire site runs straight off it.
Edit: Bleh, only the top half of xbox.com is appearing for me in FF and Opera. Works fine in IE8 though :/

It's all rather broken for me (Firefox). I guess I'll wait and let it settle.

Once I signed back in it was fine. Until then it was a bit of a train wreck.
