Xbox 360 - Texas Hold'em - Glitch?

I've not had anything like this happen before (or it's the first time I have noticed).

It just really got on my nut that I was dropped from the game even after apparently raking in $1000+ on the first deal.

Anyway I got over the above (slightly) and started up a $4000 game last night and came in 3rd ($6400 win iirc) so I'm slowly gaining a few $.
