This was briefly covered on the local news and in the papers yesterday, it made me giggle.

Drivers in Bristol have been singing along in their cars – not to the radio, but to road signs.

A couple of cheeky signs bringing popular song lyrics to the street have appeared.

The first, which placed the word 'Hammertime' underneath an existing Stop sign at the top of Sandy Park Road, Brislington, raised grins after popping up in the summer.

But in the last few weeks another lyric has been attached to a Stop sign at the junction of Allison Road and School Road in Brilington, saying 'In The Name Of Love', in reference to The Supremes song of the same name. Both signs look like genuine street signs, with black lettering and a white background.
