Default sitx file extension

Does anyone know what this is?

I have asked my printers to send me back some artwork as they were going to charge us £600 to add on an address to a document :/

The doc was probably created in Quark or InDesign, but have never seen this file ext before - does anyone know if its editable and if so in what program?

Many thanks

Filext says it's a StuffIt compressed file - you can get StuffIt expanders for Windows, no need to go over to the dark side

She might have trouble editing a mac created doc, editing on windows and resaving - used to cause me no end of problems when working on the newspaper!

We kind of already are but they don't own these files so there's no reason he can't supply them.
