Just got back from seeing Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. As gay as a handbag full of rainbows but probably one of the best musicals I've ever seen Certainly had some of the best jokes I've heard in a musical, or even a film for that matter. Performances were fantastic and the story was great (I've not seen the film version, so twas all new to me). Even the stage was better than most despite basically only having two props. The only slight letdown was the music which didn't have any particularly memorable numbers, but was still perfectly foot-tappingly enjoyable. Go see.

Wicked is excellent. It's on tour at the moment, not sure whether that's a separate cast/crew to the broadway show.

Seven brides - I played Adam Hairspray - I played Mr Pinky Grease - I love this, but haven't starred in a production of it yet Calamity Jane - Ahh, my first stage appearence. I played a generic cowboy first time round and latterly played Daniel Gilmartin Little shop of horrors - I was the voice of the plant Cabaret - Some fab little numbers and routines, like you said. I've not performed in this one yet Chicago - Mr Cellophane and all that jazz are my fave songs All the others I haven't performed in, but I love musicals

At the version I was "technical advisor" for they gave the voice of the plant to possibly the most charismatic student we had. It seemed a really bizarre choice at the time as everyone had had him pegged to play the Dentist, but it really worked well. His strength of personality came across in his over the top "Feeeyud Me!" leaving him as the most memorable character. In fact thinking about it he's really the only one I actually remember...
