Well I kinda figured if he was planning on switching to iPlayer now it's in HD it was because he only had SD TV

Am I the only one who thinks it's not that exciting about it being in HD. The picture quality is fairly irrelevent, it's mostly the style that makes the programme.

The bits out side the studio are shot in a certain way to make them look pretty and in HD they will look even better.

If you're not bothered about PQ then lucky you, you'll save a fortune buying DVDs instead of Bluerays

Oh I love high quality picture - my projector connected to my blu ray player looks fantastic

Just not overly excited about top gear being HD. I love top gear though

I don't have any means to watch it, but joy to those who do. Provided they don't compress it to buggery, that is. It's amazing that I actually used to be happy with Freeview. I never used to be bothered about jaggies there, but I see them so often now it's shocking.
