Team Fortress 2
Just checked out the trailers on Steam, and I have to say that initially I thought "they have ruined the spirit of Quake TF" as it is SO cartoony. However, After watching the second trailer and mulling it over, it looks bloody fantastic. They even have the same map (layout) seen in the 2fort maps which made me come over all nostalgic. I can honestly say, that I will definatly be trying this game. I just hope the balance is as good as it was in the original - and before TFC came about (which incidently I couldnt stand).
Anyone else excited about this?? |

Haha! It looks freakin' awesome! How fast can the Scout run?! Reminds me a lot of when we used to play No-one Lives Forever multiplayer at uni - briefcase rocket launcher FTW!
I'm still waiting for They Hunger: Lost Souls to come out. I never tire of killing zombies.

I'm interested in it but iirc I have to buy Half Life 2: Episode 2 to get it so not sure if it'd be worth it as I have no interest in Episode 2.

I bought HL2 just for CS:S and regretted it so I don't want to make the same mistake twice

It kinda looks like the incredibles...
Though I'm interested in the balance, as the HWG is HUGE compared to the puny scout, so will hitboxes be different do you think? I would hope not seeing as the speed was / is the balancing feature. Being slow AND a huge target AND having a long weapon spin up time < tiny and speedy. |
