Essex regiment way targetted by camera vans

To the Chelmsford locals, Essex Regiment Way is currently being targeted by the mobile scamera vans. A favourite spot appears to be on the right hand side heading towards braintree from the pump lane roundabout just after the road sweeps right. Also they are sitting in the layby's at the end of the long wide straights by the roundabouts looking to nab everyone who overtakes.

Poodle down there for a couple of weeks until they decide to target somewhere else. I've noticed they are there most days at the moment which is why I'm mentioning it. They are trying to get the boy racers who go zooming up there and then turn right heading towards Braintree and then bombing down those roads.

On a plus note I saw two coppers on bikes at the end of Pump lane. Don't know where they were off to but it's clear that they don't normally get on their bikes

There's quite often a bike sitting at the roundabout after channels (heading braintree bound).

Anyone seen the "A12 Alliance" units yet? Purportedly there to encourage better driving standards amongst other things, yet more than once I've seen them change lane without indicating, and trundle at 60, wait for someone to pass, then speed up
