Default Bill McLaren the only voice of Rugby Union has died :(

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/...nd/8468319.stm

Just saw this on BBC Sports section and a sad day indeed for those of us who grew up listening to his commentary of the 5 nations rugby on BBC. RIP Bill you will be fondly remembered and missed by all of us who listened to your Rugby times.

RIP, he really was the voice of rugby that I remember from watching all the games growing up.

A few of his best quotes are up on the Telegraph:

Listening to Butler and Moore makes you realise how hard was the job he made look so easy.

It's an overused phrase but he was a true legend of the game and you're right he made it seem easy to commentate yet you've only got to listen to the other numpties to realise exactly how well he did it. R.I.P.
