Hi all & Thanks for popping in.
I exchanged my 360 yesterday @ gamestation using the warranty i got from them when they exchanged my original 360 a year ago. As luck would have it they didn't have a refurb to give me so they gave me a 150w Jasper Arcade with the bigger flash. ![]() Anyway... I set it up in seconds last night but then had a nightmare few minutes wondering whether all my saves on Forza3 would work, Well they did but I can't play the game from the HD I have to play from disc unless I delete it from HD & then re instal. I cannot delete my Forza 3 saves, Are they Mental. I have around 3 Mill & 70 odd cars that are All modded/tuned & set up. So what's the work around ? I can play Forza3 from disc & access All my cars etc so it's only a noise issue I am trying to sort & to reduce any wear on my disc. I did think of uploading all my motors to auction but I bet it limits me to 16 or summit. I also thought of setting up another profile & gifting all my cars over to that profile & then buying one for 3 mill to sort the dough out. Surely there must be an easier way for me to sort this without the long haul. ![]() I should say that even though I deleted & re installed Fifa09 all my saves were intact. ![]() Any help out there ? Either way I have a Brand spanking new 150watt Jasper ![]() Thanks for reading. ![]() |

You can delete the disk image off the hard drive without affecting your saves

Glad it worked. Would another option be to copy the save games to a memory card before deleting?

I had this when my 360 died and I had to swap hard drive to a new 360. As Daz says, all you do is delete the installed game which is a different file to the game saves. Re-install and away you go, all your game saves are still intact
