Can't comment on the beer front, but I sympathise on the hayfever at least. Had it bad yesterday despite taking prescription meds. I've given up on those today and gone back to the OTC Loratadine I used to use - which knocked it on the head.

Not sure what OTC is but I've gone back to Loratadine also in the past couple of days. I think that's why it has knocked me sideways, I switched back and it is taking a bit of time to catch up.
I only switched to non-Loratadine (can't remember what the active content was) for the cost. Won't do that again, I saved about a quid.

OTC = Over-the-counter (i.e. you don't need a prescription).
Couple of years ago I found Loratadine wasn't doing the job so went to the docs and got Desloratadine and then Fexafenadine, both of which worked for a year and then had the same problem. Now I've gone full circle. Anticipating this, I picked up a bulk pack of Loratadine while out in the US (10p a tablet) so cost won't be a problem for a while. |

Ahhh, I see. That's what I'm on too. Strange how we both went back to it.
My best mate gets an injection that sorts it out, but I've never followed it up. I should, the backs of my hands are embarrassing when my hayfever is up.

I look like I've been in a punch up this morning, my eyes are awful, lots of people asking me 'what happened' :/
It's hitting me quite strongly quite quickly this year it seems!

The BBC have reported that this year will see a low pollen count and be a good year for those with hayfever.
Not found that so far!

The injection is steroid and works a treat . Not many doctors are happy to give it though.
