Oooooooh, I just tried it again and noticed that tapping the bar at the top of the iPhone screen (the status bar thing) doesn't automatically scroll to the top of the page. I think Opera is the only app I've got which doesn't do that.

Wish there was a way to disable the orientation sensor (i.e. set the orientation manually and leave it that way). Opera seems particularly sensitive for some reason but it's one of my biggest annoyances in general.

It seems that opera have disabled everything that's good about the iPhone interface, and made it worse!
Pinch zooming, scroll bar jumping thing, page scaling, etc

It does seem faster, but whether that's justification for the other problems (none of which I've experienced yet - though I've only used it once) is your call.

I'm not particularly perturbed by the speed of Safari being honest. I've grabbed opera and will give it a shot anyway.
It's the lack of Flash that annoys me.

Is iCab worth the money? (think it was $4.99 or something).

iCab Mobile is £1.19
I mainly got it as a Safari wouldn't allow me to post on another forum. After that, I kept it as my main browser as I prefer the way it handles multiple tabs.

I've gotten rid. It was annoying me too much, just not user friendly enough.
