One's New Hobby
I joined the gun club at work.
We shoot once a month and use military ranges as Catterick, North Yorks. Here I am trying out some toys. Me using an Accuracy International .308 rifle. You can castrate a gnat at 600m with this. I am plinking here with an old .303 Enfield jungle carbine which leaves your shoulder black and blue. It was made in 1951. Just to the right of me is a civilian version / copy of the Kalashnikov and to my left is a Remington Enforcer ( green ) and a Parker Hale T4 in .308. I am still in my probation period as although I have shot before, it has never been with a club. I fancy a T4 if and when I get around to applying for a gun ticket.

I would dearly love to do something like this, it looks awesome fun. How did you do Vonny?

Not bad Davey.
I was getting 1-2 inch groups at 100 and 200 meters with the AI rifle ( top ) although in fairness with a steady aim and good sights it is pretty hard to miss with it. They cost about 4k new ( that one is an ex police rifle that was donated to the club ) and has only recently been phased out by the Army in favour of the L115A3 ( absolute dog's bollocks ) in a more powerful .338 calibre. I only got a half day in last Saturday as there was a mix up with the range we were supposed to have as some Paras were using it and we didn't fancy arguing with them. Good buch of lads though.

That looks great
Must admit I do miss my shooting and would love to go again on the odd occasion.
