How did you manage to scan it more times than you had items as the self serve checkouts ive used won't let you scan the next item in if it thinks you haven't placed the previous one into the bagging area?

Put about 10 in, and filled the tray, and then it gave me an option to remove bag. So i pressed it, and removed the tomatoes back to the other side Not really sure how i found that option but it just appeared...

I've never seen that option - I just wait for the scan lights to go green and then yank the bag off the scales. As long as you wait for the green light and it's a decisive move, it seems to work.

Yeah i think that's what i did, took them off the scale when everything had settled and then it said remove bag or something or other, i really don't know exactly i was too busy trying to be sneaky with a crate of chopped tomatoes...
