Thought I'd resurrect this as I found something I find useful.

My list first:
FireFTP
British English dictionary
XMarks (used to be Foxmarks)

I gave Safari 5 a try last night and didn't care for it much but one feature I did really like was "Safari Reader". Basically, at the click of a button, it isolates text on the page when reading an article (news, reviews etc.).
As I said, I didn't care much for Safari so I went looking for a similar add-on for Firefox and found Readability. It's not an add-on as such, rather, it's a button you drag onto your bookmarks toolbar. It does basically the same as Safari Reader.

A large part of my browsing is reading news articles and reviews and the like and I find this hugely useful for removing distracting ads etc. - Especially since a lot of review and news sites have horribly cluttered pages, loaded with ads.

Edit: It's not quite as good as Safari reader in that, Reader will make a scrollable text article out of a multi-page article while Readabilty only does single pages. Not a huge issue but hopefully the Readability people will follow suit.

Same.

Though I've only got british english dictionary. I don't ever seem to need adblockers, unless I'm missing something?

Adblock Plus. Every time I open Hotmail or a similar site in IE by mistake I remember why I love ABP so much.
