Need a source of TV in my room
Right, I've been getting by back home for about 3 months now without a TV signal in my room, just my PC/xbox and if I want TV, a couple of sky boxes elsewhere in the house.
This became an issue the other night when I wanted to watch something & as usual my mum & dad were busy using the HD box & my brother the other. So I began to consider adding to our multi-room package and getting myself a HD box of my own, possibly the 1tb option. I also looked at the option of freesat HD, but it seemed as though it wasn't worth it if we're already a sky customer. The one issue is though that as far as I am aware the dish only has 4 outputs, which limits 2 boxes to the one dish. Does anybody know roughly the full cost of getting an HD box, installing it etc or alternatively have a suggestion for a better alternative? |

You can get an 'octo LNB' (i.e. eight outputs). It's possible to replace the LNB on your dish (Sky did this with mine), but you can run into alignment issues if you try this yourself.
No idea on costs though so I'd suggest shopping around locally and/or asking Sky. |
