Holy thread resurrection Batman.
Just received a load of teas from this place http://jingtea.com/. The site was recommended to me by one of the guys on the rig. There are a few guys on the rig who drink 'gourmet' teas - it's not normally the sort of thing one would expect from burly offshore types. I ordered their 4 "Explorer" packs plus some equipment to get me started. So far I've tried Huo Shan Yellow Buds and Assam. I don't think I used enough of either to get the proper flavour. It'll take a bit of experimentation to get the right amounts to get the full flavour of the teas. I'll be trying all the teas in the packs to find which ones I like before buying larger quantities. Next on the list to try is the Dragon Well green tea. The guy who recommended the site to me says it's an excellent tea.

I am dying. I'm practically living on tea today
There was that programme on the other night. Something or other's food factory, that bloke. They were tasting tea at Yorkshire Tea and making up blends. Interesting that hard water causes dark scummy tea, which explains why the tea at my house brews up so quickly and is practically undrinkable.
