New Toy - Magimix 5200
Thought I'd come in and show off our new toy. This isn't strictly mine; she's been wanting a big food processor for some time, based on the fact that her mum's one has done 30 years of service and we're both a fan of buy good buy once.
Magimix 5200: We got dead lucky. Bought it in John Lewis and spotted a big box on the reduced aisle, only to see they had reduced it by £50 because the box was damaged. Contents guaranteed undamaged and complete and full guarantee and warranty as normal. Excellent So far we've only used it to grate stuff and mix a cake but it'll slice, chop, blend and apparently do dough. I think I'm still going to want a Kitchenaid for bread though

It's really quiet, that's the most noticeable thing. Second is the induction motor, so it sits there spinning and when you load it up it just adds more power to keep up. Geeky but so cool
