Chipex - Anybody heard of it or used it?
Just come across this on another forum and have to say I'm quite tempted.
http://www.chipex.co.uk/ Dave has a few chips on his bonnet which is to be expected but I don't fancy paying out getting them all repaired by Chips Away or whoever. Chipex is only £50 which I thought was a decent price, the paint is matched to your car and it looks simple enough. Anybody used it or heard of any other reports?

Looks the same as that Dr Color stuff everyone on OcUK bought a couple of years back and then wished they'd never bothered as it was crap.

It is supposed to be similar but this is based in the UK. I've read some good reviews but I think you have to understand it's limitations. It's not going to make the deepest of chips just vanish which is almost the impression they give.

Well bloody use it and tell me how good or crap it is
TBH, for £50 it's not exactly a big risk so might grab some at some stage anyway.

Well it arrived today, and me being an impatient bugger at times thought I'd go out and try it....in the dark
Took a torch with me though This is a chip on the edge of the boot sill. It's not particularly big but it is quite deep... Here it is with the paint applied but still "lumped"... And here it is rubbed down and "finished"... Took about 10 minutes in all and to start with for my first go I'm happy. A deep chip like this will probably need two to three coverings to really make it disappear. although it will always still be there and visible to the eye I should be able to make them far less noticable
