On a motorbike you can get away with no lights at all, not even a brake light

As if motorbikes don't have enough potentially damaging qualities!

She's back and legal \o/

Final cost £618.56 Could've been worse I suppose.

Mechanic says the springs probably haven't been cut - they've compressed. The car sits a lot better with the new springs and the ride is a bit better. She's sitting lower as well and looks the dog's dooodahs

Next project is the gearbox. Gears have been getting a bit stiff lately. Mechanic had a look at it and freed up some stuff and got rust off the connecting rod. It's a bit better but not completely. Looks like either refurb the gearbox or get a new one. I've always fancied one of the gearboxes from the newer revisions which have LSD so I think I'll probably get me one of them. That'll be in a few months when I've got over the current bombshell.

It's how I used to run mine

If you have ANY light on the bike then the rules all change and you need brake light, indicators, etc. But you can run it with no lights at all during daylight hours.
