In the fight against laziness...
I've bought a bike!
Which came in the biggest box I've ever seen: Went out on it yesterday 'for a bit' and ended up doing just short of 15 miles! http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/34853182 It was actually a lot more fun than I expected to cycle down a disused railway line! I expected it to be rather boring but I didn't do too bad. Kinda got lost out there, no idea where I was. Then I came to a road bridge that made me realise how far from home I was! *edit* And another 9 miles. Quite enjoying this (even with nettle stings). Will be even better when the Mrs isn't on crutches anymore! http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/34945100 Last edited by Joe 90; 21-05-2011 at 15:51. |

Can't go wrong with Kona
How do you find cycling on the roads? My big tyres and suspension tend to mean only 20% of my energy goes transfers to the road

That looks like a nice ride. Old railway tracks are great, we have one here that goes for miles and is fairly quiet too.

I need to get myself a bike - although London's a **** place to cycle I have a lot of woods and parks around here that could keep me entertained. I actually love being on 2 wheels. I am uber lazy as well, so this might help!
