Glad it's going well for you.
Emotion is such a key part of the creative process - both in the expression you achieve in your work, and in the reactions your subjects have to you. |

yeah Dee your work is really fantastic. I think you can definitely boost your prices too. I would suggest a couple things:
Attend a London SMUG meetup if you can. The group just started so they're really only starting to get to know one another so it would be a good time to jump in and make friends. http://www.meetup.com/Central-London-SMUG/ Knowing your fellow industry mates is a GOOD thing. Don't be afraid that they are competition. Everyone who attends want to share their knowledge. It's a fantastic way to get connected and help your business grow. Another group I heard of while I was there is called ShutterRock UK. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=...877136703&ap=1 http://www.shutterrock.jazampawfarr.com/

Attended a wedding at the weekend and obviously took my gear and shot some pics. Mainly buzzing around taking candids whilst the official tog did his stuff but he left after the ceremony and official portraits so I took a load of shots at the reception and evening bash.
Really enjoyed it I have to say. Felt a bit self-concious waving a DSLR at people all the time but was fun. Put some shots up last night and loads of family and guests have said how impressed they are by them which massages my ego a bit Kind of feel like I'd like to try a big of second-togging with a pro sometime but have no idea where to start or look tbh.

You'd be welcome to join me too, but I think you're a bit far away

Yep, they're on Flickr, there's a guest pass here: http://flickr.com/gp/veewan/bF2to9
Nowhere near your standard obviously but I was quite pleased with them. Still trying to get to grips with flash. I'm actually in Birmingham! (That's me getting molested in the last pic btw - it's a hard life)
