Bargain - Pure Sensa
Argos are throwing these out at 50% off. Essentially they are a touch screen internet radio for £125. The only downside is there isn't an ipod dock but there is a 3.5mm jack to plug in instead.
Sound quality, well it does lose the top end due to having small speakers. But it does not sound like laptop speakers! Being picky as I am used to full size floorstanders. I've updated to version 4.0 and the screen on it is bright and vibrant. It's a little sluggish compared to a touchscreen phone, but for £125 I think its a bargain |

It doesn't actually say it's an internet radio on the argos site, well done to them! This still seems fairly expensive to me though for what is essentially a joggler with a DAB built in, yeah? Unless i'm getting it wrong, and i seem to remember the jogger going for less than £50 at times too...

True, except the joggler sounded like ass unless you added external speakers. For an all-in-one package its pretty good. This is also updated and has access to more stations, I had a joggler and it got bugger all updates and had a very limited internet radio choice (UK broadcast only). The jogglers were also pretty flaky at holding a signal.
I still think its a good price for what you are getting. There are other internet radio's but like my amp they mean you individually scroll through stations. |

Is the company big? I'm not aware of them too much? Worried that it's obviously fairly proprietary, especially the "lounge" of channels, what happens if they can it in a year if this thing doesn't take off, which i assume at half price of the silly £250 they originally had, is possibly likely?
I'm fairly cautious of this stuff, really very nearly bought HP touchpad, but didn't just in case Android didn't make it, it looks like it has now, but tbh i've realised i don't really miss it and it would have been £90 wasted. As i really don't have need for a touchpad cheap or not (), that said the transformer still pulls at me but because of batter and nice keyboard |
