iPhone : I appear to have buggered up my mailbox

Ok, so I decided to delete and re-add it because I knew I was getting emails (facebook notifications etc) and they weren't appearing in my inbox, so having deleted facebook and re-added that at the weekened, I did the same with my yahoo email.

However, it now seems to be broke. I have nothing displayed in the inbox, it tries to download it, and then stops, or sits there for ages saying its downloading it, but not actually doing it. I've deleted it once and added it again already, but am I doing something wrong.

I know its not the yahoo thats broke, cos I can go in via safari and access email that way, just its more of a faff to do it that way, and i'd like the email inbox fixed.

I had same problem with gmail so deleted and re-added but now it refuses to accept the password. No biggy as I don't use gmail that much at all.

Do you have a lot of emails in your yahoo account? It may be trying to synchronise the lot and just taking ages to do it... ?

Yes, but whenever I keep lighting the screen up, it just sits there trying. I sat there for about half an hour last night.

Hmm odd thing, I save notes quite regularly. They've all disappeared between now and the 2nd of August, although the ones I saved before that are still there.

Also I saved an appointment in my calendar, and then later in the week it was gone.

Any ideas? (still no inbox either)

The inbox finally lives! Tried it just now and it's back.

Gawd knows what's going on with the silly phone, notes are still missing
