Magazines...
Hey peoples
Just pondering if you can help me out a bit! Been in contact with various magazines for the charity rtw challenge on motorbikes but am sure I'm missing out some major mags! We've covered most of the bike magazines but need some more articles to go in girlie magazines and any other you can think of! As I don't tend to read girlie mags and anything other than Focus/New Scientist I'm a bit stumped as to good ones! Any suggestions who/what mags/websites might be likely to write articles on a n00b-girl-motorcyclist-doing-rtw-challenge-with-partner-for-charity would be greatly appreciated Fankoo xxx |

I'm the same as you with magazines so I'm not sure I'll be much help. How about something like Big Issue or Metro?

You know I never thought of they!
Have been looking through magazine subscription sites and they give such limited details as to what they write about it's doing my nut in! Looks like a trip to WHSmiths and browsing through their mags is in order Fankoo Mubsy! |

Have you thought about all the "other stuff" you'll be using on the trip? You think mostly bike stuff, yeah, but what about camping stuff, gadgets, outdoor clothing, travel, health.. And what about foreign magazines? Like their versions if those usual mags, plus tourism, perhaps?

I don't read mags much any more but I seem to remember Marie Claire doing stuff like that - powerful women doing life-affirming stuff.
Shortlist is another good one. Freebie, so lots of exposure.
