Default Any WAN experts on here?

Can someone explain the difference between IP Clear and Etherflow?

I appreciate that may be a bit like asking someone to explain the difference between a car and a boat, but I need to know the reasons why you would choose one over the other.

We have both in our offices, and, as far as I can tell, we send the same type of traffic down both (basically IP traffic, one is used for RDP and the other is used for monitoring some servers). So, why would I want one over the other? When would I nod my head and make appreciative affermative noises when someone suggests IP Clear and when would I shake my head in bafflement at such a suggestion and insist Etherflow is the only sensible option?

Anybody care to provide sage advise?
