If you aren't in a rush Rog, I'd wait and see what they bring out

Ok well I think I am going to leave o2 as they couldnt offer me any deal at all. Looks like giff gaff are going to be getting my custom whilst I sort out the cheapest sim free phone I can.
Anyone know if the giff gaff sim will work in my O2 iphone? I guess cos giff gaff use the o2 network there shouldnt be a problem? |

Yeah Giffgaff use the O2 network so, even if you're network locked, you shouldn't have any problems.
Giffgaff are good - I use them for my iPad

I use a giffgaff sim in an o2 iPhone and yes it's just fine, the iPhone doesn't know otherwise and the carrier section at the top says o2. I've found giffgaff quite good so far especially for the money, though it's only been a few weeks.

The only downside I've found with Giffgaff compared to O2 "proper" is they don't support tethering on the iPad.

I think at some point the Android marketplace is going to have to go down the same approval route that Apple pioneered. I understand that wasn't possible in the early days as it was key to establishing the brand, but now I think its a necessary evil.
