Need to read up on the different knocking issues associated with the clio's and try and try and check whilst there I guess...

Yup it appears to be engine mounts and exhaust mounts. Both common areas of failure, I really want to be sure though =/ Have a video which I'll sort out soon as I can see if anyone dares to help diagnose!

Hard to hear any knocking, although there's no acceleration there... Edging towards engine mounts, which are common failures.

I think i've just bagged myself a bargain (or a lemon). £500 for a W Reg Ph1 Titanium Silver Clio 172.

Needs work, but essentially just a major service plus a few extras, which should cost me around another £500. We'll see anyway!

More pictures and details to follow! It's been a few months but I've finally got a car
