Cambridge American Cemetery - 12/11/2006 - NSF56K
On Sunday I was at the Cambridge American Cemetery. *more info about the place here*
It's a staggering place. Absolutely silent. No birds about at all. 8938 memorials there for dead servicemen. 3812 gravestones and 5126 names on the Wall of the Missing Got many photo's taken throughout the day - these are only a few that I've sorted out. Anyway - some of these photo's are technically dire. But I like them. Simon/~Flibster

Some amazing photo's there. I bet you felt incredably moved by being there too I still remember visiting some cemeteries (in France and Belgium iirc) and I'll never forget how moved I felt just being there.

Is it wrong to say the photos of the graves are beautiful?
